Important information / recall

We would like to inform you in a factual and transparent manner about a recall affecting certain costume jewellery items. As part of a quality control, values were identified for specific products that may be above the applicable legal limits.

Important: All affected customers known to us have already been contacted directly by us. If you own one of the affected products and have not yet received a message from us, please contact us. Ideally, please provide your order reference, your name, and the email address used when placing the order.

The affected products were removed from our shop immediately and disposed of properly.

If you own one of the items listed above, we recommend that you:

• Please stop wearing the item immediately.
• Please dispose of the item.
• Keep the item out of reach of children until it has been disposed of.

If you notice skin reactions (e.g. redness, itching) or if you are unsure, please seek advice from a medical professional.

We would like to briefly and clearly explain why such substances are regulated in costume jewellery. This information is intended to provide context and is not meant to cause concern.

• Nickel: Nickel can trigger a contact allergy in sensitive individuals. Typical signs include redness, itching, or eczema at the contact areas.
• Cadmium: Cadmium is a heavy metal. The legal limits are intended to prevent unnecessary exposure. Cadmium becomes particularly relevant with prolonged or repeated contact, especially if jewellery is put in the mouth.
• Lead: Lead is also a heavy metal and is subject to strict legal limits, especially to protect children. Here too, the aim is to rule out avoidable exposure. No lead was detected in the items listed above.

For this reason, we are taking consistent action: the affected items were removed from the assortment and disposed of.

Of course, we will refund the purchase price in full. The refund will usually be processed promptly via the same payment method, or to the account used when placing the order.
