Visiting our online shop

For every visitor to our online shop, we temporarily store the following data on our server:

• • the IP address of the requesting computer,
• • the date and time of access,
• • which page the visitor came from to reach our website,
• • which search terms the visitor used,
• • the name and URL of the retrieved file,
• • the status code (e.g. error message),
• • the operating system of your computer,
• • the browser you use (type, version and language),
• • and the transmission protocol (e.g. HTTP/1.1)

This data is stored for 30 days and is not passed on. We use this data for internal purposes such as offer and shop optimizations, system security and system adjustments.

Creating a customer account

Every customer who registers with us via the “Register” button automatically creates a customer account. By completing your registration, the customer agrees to our privacy policy.

We require the following data from our customers when registering for a customer account.

• • Password

By creating a customer account, you receive password-protected direct access to your stored master data. Here you can, among other things, view your data such as password, name, address, date of birth and email address, as well as view your completed, open and recently shipped orders and returns.

You only need to provide your billing and delivery address when placing an order. For your order, we require your correct name, address and payment details. We need your email address to confirm receipt of your order and its shipment and to communicate with you. Your email address is also your login name so you can sign in to your customer account.

When ordering products

If you would like to order products in our online shop, we require various data from you to process the contract, such as:

All mandatory fields are marked in the registration form with an (* asterisk). All other details such as date of birth and phone number are optional and do not have to be provided. Except for purchases on account. For this step, the date of birth is a mandatory field.

We need all your data to verify your identity before concluding a contract. We also require your email address to confirm your order and for future communication necessary for contract processing. Only by storing your email address can you log in to your customer account again and again. In addition, we store your data in connection with orders such as date, order and delivery note number, products, price, product name, quantity, shipping method as well as the selected payment method, confirmation of payment and time, and details regarding the processing and fulfillment of the contract such as returns of products and warranty services in our CRM database, so that we can ensure correct order processing and contract fulfillment.

For contract fulfillment, it is necessary to pass on data such as name and address to a third-party service provider (Swiss Post) for the transport of your ordered goods.

Log file data

When you visit our website, our servers temporarily record each access in a log file. The following data is collected without any action on your part and stored by us until it is automatically deleted:

This log file data is stored by us for 30 days. By collecting this data, we pursue the purpose of enabling the use of our online shop, ensuring system security and stability on a permanent basis, as well as error and performance analysis.

Furthermore, in the event of an attack on our online shop or suspicion of unauthorized or abusive website use, this data and the IP address are evaluated for clarification and defense and, if applicable, used within the framework of criminal proceedings for identification and for civil and criminal action.

Collection, processing and use of your data

We collect, store and process your data for the complete processing of your purchase and for any warranty claims, as well as for technical administration, our own marketing purposes and for the prevention of crimes and fraud. Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties insofar as this is legally permitted, including for the purpose of contract processing or billing, for marketing purposes, or if you have previously given your consent. As part of order processing, for example, service providers used by us (such as postal services and banks) receive the necessary data for order and contract processing. The data passed on in this way may only be used by our service providers to fulfill their task.

Shop analysis by ShopRadar (if active)

We may use an internal analytics tool (ShopRadar) to analyze and optimize our online shop. If ShopRadar is active, technical usage data such as pages viewed, click paths, scrolling behavior, device and browser information, and timestamps of interactions may be recorded in order to improve user-friendliness and the ordering process.

ShopRadar is operated exclusively internally. No customer names, addresses, email addresses or payment data are passed on to third parties. Entries in form fields (e.g. address or payment details) are not recorded or stored.

The data is generally stored for a maximum of 30 days and then deleted, unless longer retention is required to clarify misuse, fraud or technical malfunctions.

Financial service providers for the payment process

So that our customers can pay for their orders directly in our shop, we require various financial service providers / payment providers that handle payment processing for us. These service providers require the following data from us: customer data such as first and last name, address, email address, date of birth, order number and transaction ID, ordered items, purchase amount, date and time of the order, in order to compare and verify data during the payment process with your payment app, credit card or account. ANjAS-SHOP works with the following payment providers:

Payrexx: Thanks to Payrexx, our customers can pay in our online shop using PostFinance Card, Twint, Visa and Mastercard credit card.

MF Group / POWERPAY purchase on account: offers the payment method “purchase on account” as an external payment service provider. When concluding the purchase contract, POWERPAY takes over the resulting invoice claim and handles the relevant payment modalities. When purchasing on account, you accept not only our Terms and Conditions but also POWERPAY’s Terms and Conditions. (powerpay.ch/de/agb).

Credit check for payment on account

So that you can pay by invoice, we carry out a credit check. The credit check also serves to protect us against payment default and to protect us against fraud.

For the credit check by our partner PowerPay, we transmit the personal data required for a credit check, such as: first and last name, your address, email address and your date of birth.

MF Group uses the data transmitted by us to assess your creditworthiness with regard to the respective order on the basis of mathematical-statistical procedures. In addition, the credit service provider uses the aforementioned data for address verification, identity checks and scoring applications for other companies.

ANjAS-SHOP does not store customer bank account data

ANjAS-SHOP has no access to your customer bank data, credit card data or passwords, and these are not stored. We only receive information from your bank via our payment provider that your payment has been accepted and that the purchase at ANjAS-SHOP can be completed.

Cookies are small files that are stored on your computer and store certain settings and data for exchange with our system via your browser. This storage helps us to design our websites and our offers accordingly for you and makes it easier for you to use them by storing certain inputs, such as filling out forms, registrations, logins or placing products in your shopping cart, so that you do not have to repeat these processes constantly. In addition, cookies may be used by us to provide the service technically and to facilitate use (e.g. shopping cart function, login). Services for advertising, tracking or analytics are only used if they have been actively enabled by us and are described accordingly in this privacy policy.

Most internet browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or so that a notice always appears when you receive a new cookie.

Certain functions of our online shop may be restricted if cookies are disabled.

Why does ANjAS-SHOP not have a cookie pop-up window?

In Switzerland, there is currently no explicit legal obligation to actively obtain cookie consent. We transparently inform our visitors about the use of cookies in this privacy policy. You can restrict or disable cookies at any time via your browser settings.

ANjAS-SHOP may use Google Analytics 4, a shop analytics service provided by Google Inc. If Google Analytics 4 is actively used, Google Analytics analyzes traffic to our online shop and evaluates cookies on the computer. The information generated about our online shop is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. By activating IP anonymization on this website, the IP address is shortened before transmission within the member states of the European Union and Switzerland of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The anonymized IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not merged with other data held by Google.

The advertising and tracking services described below are used only if corresponding advertising campaigns are actively running. Currently, not all services listed are necessarily in active use.

As part of banner advertising and shopping ads, we use third-party services that set cookies on our site.

ANjAS-SHOP does not pass on data such as customer names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, date of birth, etc. to our advertising partners. Our advertising partners analyze our website using cookies and pixels and match this with their data. In doing so, your user behavior on our online shop and on other providers’ websites is analyzed in order to subsequently show you personalized advertising.

To track your user behavior (tracking) and for personalized advertising (targeting), most technologies use cookies that can recognize your browser across different websites. Various service providers may be able to recognize you even if you use different internet-enabled devices such as smartphone, PC or tablet. This data is made available to us and other advertisers.

The following details are determined:

Information about you that you provided when registering for or using a service of advertising partners (e.g. your gender, your age group)

User behavior (e.g. search queries, interactions with advertising, types of websites visited, products viewed and purchased, subscribed newsletters)

Our service providers and we use this data to determine whether you belong to the target group for our advertising. Our service providers may create user profiles based on the data and provide various data such as membership in certain demographic segments or potential interests, which end devices or behaviors are relevant for our online advertising. This is analyzed and evaluated automatically.

You can reject the cookies used at any time in your web browser if you wish to withdraw your consent. You can also adjust your privacy settings on Facebook and Instagram.

Google Ads

We use Google Ads for our advertising. For this advertising, we have installed Google’s DoubleClick cookie technology in our shop. This enables Google to recognize your browser when you visit our website and other websites. The information generated by the cookies about visits to these websites (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Further information on data protection at Google can be found on Google’s homepage.

Personalization of Google advertising is based on assignment to a target group and is carried out by Google using information from your Google account as well as on the basis of activities and interests arising from your use of Google products and with Google advertising partners. ANjAS-SHOP does not match customer data with Google services. We only use the data that Google makes available to us.

Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads)

We use Microsoft Advertising to run online advertising or may use it depending on the campaign. In this context, we may use the so-called UET tag (Universal Event Tracking) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and to create conversion statistics (e.g. whether an order is placed after clicking on an ad).

We do not use Microsoft Advertising for retargeting (remarketing) in this context.

When you visit our website via a Microsoft ad, a cookie may be set on your device. This makes it possible to track which pages were visited and whether an order was completed.

ANjAS-SHOP does not transmit any personal customer data such as names, addresses or email addresses to Microsoft. Microsoft is responsible under data protection law for the further processing of the data.

Unfortunately, we cannot avoid transferring personal data abroad if this is necessary to carry out the data processing activities described in this privacy policy. In doing so, the legal requirements for disclosure of personal data to third parties are, of course, complied with. Hoststar is a Swiss company whose servers are located in Germany. Hoststar is subject to Swiss and EU law.

Hoststar stores and manages our server and keeps it up to date with the latest technology including software. It also helps us protect against attacks from outside.

You have the right to access your data, as well as the right to rectify incorrect data and the right to have your personal data deleted, insofar as there is no legal retention obligation (10 years) to the contrary.

ANjAS-SHOP uses modern security measures and current technologies to protect your personal data against loss, manipulation and unauthorized access. Our security measures are continuously adapted in line with technological developments.

ANjAS- SHOP stores your personal data only as long as necessary. Contract data is subject to retention obligations. According to these regulations, business communications, concluded contracts and accounting receipts must be retained for up to 10 years. If we no longer need this data to provide the services for you, the data will be blocked. This means that the data may then only be used for accounting and tax purposes.

At ANjAS-SHOP, you can shop safely and conveniently. All your data is transmitted to us in encrypted form. This naturally also applies to your order and to customer login. For this we use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption system.
