Visiting our online shop

When you visit our online shop, we temporarily store the following data on our server:

• • the IP address of the requesting computer,
• • the date and time of access,
• • from which page the visitor reached our website,
• • which search terms the visitor used,
• • the name and URL of the retrieved file,
• • the status code (e.g. error message),
• • your computer’s operating system,
• • the browser you use (type, version and language),
• • as well as the transmission protocol (e.g. HTTP/1.1)

This data is stored for 30 days and is not passed on to third parties. We use it for internal purposes, in particular to improve our offer and shop, for system security and for technical adjustments.

Creating a customer account

If you register with us via the "Registrieren" button, a customer account is automatically created. By completing your registration, you agree to our privacy policy.

We require the following data to register a customer account:

• • e-mail address
• • password

When a customer account is created, you receive password-protected direct access to the master data we have stored about you. There, you can view your data such as password, name, address, date of birth and e-mail address, as well as your completed, open and recently shipped orders and returns.

You only need to provide your billing and delivery address when placing an order. For your order, we require your correct name, address and payment details. We also need your e-mail address so that we can confirm receipt of your order and its dispatch and communicate with you. Your e-mail address is also your login name for your customer account.

When ordering products

If you wish to order products in our online shop, we require various data from you for the performance of the contract, for example:

• • billing and delivery address*
• • e-mail address*
• • date of birth
• • telephone number

All mandatory information is marked with an (* asterisk) in the input form. All other information, such as date of birth and telephone number, is voluntary and does not have to be provided. The exception is purchase on invoice. In this case, the date of birth is a mandatory field.

We require your data to verify your identity before concluding a contract and to process your order correctly. We also require your e-mail address to confirm your order and for any further messages needed to process the contract. Only by storing your e-mail address can you log back into your customer account at any time. In addition, we store data in connection with your orders, e.g. date, order and delivery note number, products, price, product name, quantity, shipping method, chosen payment method, payment confirmation and time of payment, as well as details relating to the handling and fulfilment of the contract, for example in the case of returns or warranty services in our CRM database. This is necessary so that we can ensure correct order processing and contract fulfilment.

For the fulfilment of the contract, it is necessary to pass on data such as name and address to a third-party service provider (Swiss Post) so that your ordered goods can be transported.

Log file data

When you visit our website, our servers temporarily store every access in a log file. The following data is automatically collected and stored until automated deletion:

• • from which website the access took place as well as the search term
• • the operating system of your computer or mobile phone and the browser you use
• • the transmission protocol used
• • as well as the user’s end device

We store this log file data for 30 days. We collect this data in order to enable the use of our online shop, to permanently ensure system security and stability, and to carry out error and performance analyses.

In the event of an attack on our online shop or if there is suspicion of unlawful or abusive use of our website, this data may be analysed together with the IP address for clarification and defence and, if necessary, used in criminal proceedings for identification and for civil and criminal action.

Collection, processing and use of your data

We collect, store and process your data for the complete handling of your purchase, for any warranty claims, for technical administration, for our own marketing purposes and for the prevention of criminal offences and fraud. Your personal data is only passed on to third parties where legally permitted, in particular for the purpose of contract processing or billing, for marketing purposes or if you have given prior consent. As part of order processing, the service providers we use (such as Post and banks) receive the data necessary for order and contract processing. This data may only be used by our service providers to fulfil their task.

Shop analysis through ShopRadar (if active)

To analyse and optimise our online shop, we may use an internal analytics tool (ShopRadar). If ShopRadar is active, technical usage data such as accessed pages, click paths, scrolling behaviour, device and browser information and times of interactions may be collected in order to improve user-friendliness and the ordering process.

ShopRadar is operated exclusively internally. No customer names, addresses, e-mail addresses or payment data are passed on to third parties. Entries in form fields (e.g. address or payment details) are not collected or stored.

The data is generally stored for a maximum of 30 days and then deleted, unless longer retention is required to investigate abuse, fraud or technical disruptions.

Financial service providers for the payment process

In order for our customers to pay for their orders directly in our shop, we work with various financial service providers or payment providers. These providers handle payment processing for us. For this purpose, they require certain data, for example first and last name, address, e-mail address, date of birth, order number, transaction ID, ordered items, purchase amount as well as the date and time of the order. This information is required so that the payment process can be matched and verified with your payment app, credit card or account. ANjAS-SHOP works with the following payment providers:

Payrexx: Thanks to Payrexx, our customers can pay in our online shop with PostFinance Card, Twint, Visa and Mastercard.

PayPal: Enables payment via its own payment account.

MF Group / POWERPAY purchase on invoice: as an external payment service provider, offers the payment method “purchase on invoice”. Upon conclusion of the purchase contract, POWERPAY assumes the resulting invoice claim and handles the corresponding payment arrangements. In the case of purchase on invoice, in addition to our Terms and Conditions, you also accept the Terms and Conditions of POWERPAY. (powerpay.ch/de/agb).

Credit check for payment by invoice

In order for you to pay by invoice, we carry out a credit check. This serves to protect us against payment defaults and fraud.

As part of the credit check carried out by our partner PowerPay, we transmit the personal data required for this purpose, in particular your first and last name, your address, your e-mail address and your date of birth.

MF Group uses the data transmitted by us to assess your creditworthiness for the respective order on the basis of mathematical-statistical procedures. In addition, the credit service provider may also use this data for other companies for address verification, identity checks and scoring applications.

ANjAS-SHOP does not store customers’ bank account data

ANjAS-SHOP has no access to your bank details, credit card details or passwords and does not store them. From your bank or our payment provider, we only receive the information that your payment has been accepted and that the purchase at ANjAS-SHOP can be completed.

Cookies are small files stored on your computer that save certain settings and data for the exchange with our system via your browser. This storage helps us make our webpages and offers user-friendly. For example, entries in forms, registrations, logins or products in the shopping cart can be stored so that you do not have to re-enter these processes every time. Cookies may also be used to ensure the technical operation of our offer and to make it easier to use, e.g. for the shopping cart function or login.

ANjAS-SHOP may use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. If Google Analytics 4 is actively used, this only takes place after your consent via our cookie banner, insofar as such consent is required.

Google Analytics 4 analyses the traffic of our online shop and evaluates information about the use of our website. The information generated may generally be transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. By activating IP anonymisation on this website, the IP address is shortened before transmission within the member states of the European Union and Switzerland. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

The anonymised IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. If you do not grant consent or if you withdraw consent already granted, Google Analytics 4 will not or will no longer be used for analysis purposes.

The advertising and tracking services described below are only used if corresponding advertising campaigns are active. It may be that not all services listed here are currently actually used.

Marketing and advertising technologies, in particular cookies, tags or pixels, are only used on our website if you have consented via the cookie banner, insofar as consent is required.

ANjAS-SHOP does not pass on data such as customer names, addresses, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers or dates of birth to our advertising partners. Our advertising partners analyse our website using cookies, tags or pixels and compare this data with their own data. Your user behaviour on our online shop and on websites of other providers may then be analysed in order to show you suitable advertising afterwards.

To track your user behaviour and for individual advertising, many technologies use cookies or similar technical identifiers. This allows your browser to be recognised across different websites. Some service providers can also recognise you when you use different internet-enabled devices such as a smartphone, PC or tablet. This data may be made available to us and other advertisers in aggregated form.

The following information may be determined in this process:

Information about you that you provided when registering for or using a service of advertising partners (e.g. gender or age group)

User behaviour (e.g. search queries, interactions with advertising, types of websites visited, viewed or purchased products, subscribed newsletters)

Our service providers and we use this data to determine whether you may belong to the target group for our advertising. Our service providers can create user profiles based on this data and derive demographic segments, interests or certain behaviour patterns. This takes place automatically.

You can withdraw or change your consent to marketing cookies at any time via the cookie settings on our website.

Google Ads

We use the Google Ads service for our advertising. If Google Ads is actively used, this only takes place after your consent via our cookie banner, insofar as consent is required. For this advertising, technologies from Google may be used that enable your browser to be recognised when visiting our website as well as other websites.

The information generated about visits to these websites may be transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Further information on data protection at Google can be found on their homepage.

The personalisation of Google advertising is based on assignment to a target group and is carried out by Google based on the information from your Google account as well as on the activities and interests resulting from your use of Google products and Google advertising partners. ANjAS-SHOP does not match customer data with the Google service. We only use the data that Google makes available to us.

Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads)

We use Microsoft Advertising to place online advertising or may use it depending on the campaign. In this context, we may use the so-called UET tag (Universal Event Tracking) in order to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and create conversion statistics (e.g. whether an order was placed after clicking on an advertisement). Use only takes place after your consent via the cookie banner, insofar as consent is required.

In this context, we do not use Microsoft Advertising for retargeting (remarketing).

When visiting our website via a Microsoft advertisement, a cookie may be set on your device. This makes it possible to track which pages were visited and whether an order was completed.

ANjAS-SHOP does not transmit personal customer data such as names, addresses or e-mail addresses to Microsoft. Microsoft is responsible under data protection law for the further processing of the data.

Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel)

We only use Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel) if corresponding campaigns are actively running. If Meta Pixel is active, data may be transmitted to Meta in order to measure the effectiveness of advertisements (e.g. whether an order was placed after clicking on an advertisement). In individual cases, it may be necessary to transfer personal data abroad insofar as this is required for the data processing described in this privacy policy. In doing so, we of course comply with the statutory provisions regarding the transfer of personal data to third parties. If the country concerned does not provide an adequate level of data protection, we ensure by means of contractual arrangements that your data is adequately protected by these companies (see use of data for marketing purposes).

ANjAS-SHOP stores your personal data only for as long as necessary. Contract data is subject to statutory retention obligations. According to these regulations, business communications, concluded contracts and accounting records must be retained for up to 10 years. Insofar as we no longer require this data to provide our services to you, it will be blocked. This means that it may then only be used for accounting and tax purposes.
